Linked elements: Practical Portfolio (96 marks) A related study – an illustrated dissertation/essay. Minimum of a 1000 Words (24 marks). Component 2: This component comprises one unit, based on the release of an exam paper (80 marks). Externally Set Task 40% of your overall grade (80 marks). This concludes the A Level course and includes a 15-hour timed examination piece.
Grade 6 or higher in GCSE Art Five GCSE grades at 5 or higher, including a 5 for Mathematics and English An average GCSE points score of 5.5, or better if studying 3 A Levels or 8.0, or better if studying 4 A Levels
Work produced in the A Level course is internally marked and externally moderated. The work is mounted and presented for moderation.
