Designed for students who have already studied GCSE Computer Science, this course expands on the concepts covered and enables students to further develop their programming skills in an environment that encourages creative thinking and logical problem-solving. Although access to a computer at home is not compulsory, a number of resources involve electronic files and programming tasks that students will be required to work on outside the classroom. It would be an advantage for students to have internet access at home and a suitable PC or laptop. The software used will be open source and free.
