You need to enjoy reading, writing and arguing your points, as essay writing and debating are a big part of the course. History provides you with the skills to analyse and make strong arguments, debating the importance of different events. It gives you the opportunity to investigate and make judgements, building your extended writing skills. These are key life skills, useful for all jobs.
Assessment Year 12 Early Tudors Two essays - One on Henry VII or Henry VIII, similar to the 16 mark essay at GCSE, but with 35 minutes to complete.
