Course summary

Fundamentals of ICT AIM: to ensure that learners understand how information is held and used by different types of users. You will learn about how organisations use internal and external sources of data and the types of information that can be found. Global Information AIM: to enable learners to understand how different types of information is held and practices that produce good management of this data. The impact that this can have on an organization to enable them to compete with others. Product development AIM:This unit allows learners to become familiar with the underpinning concept of product development and design methologies and the role of the system development life Computer Networks AIM: to ensure learners understand the key components of networked systems, know about network protocols and the services provided by network systems and develop the skills required to ensure network security. Application Design and Development AIM: to enable learners to understand the principles of application design and be able to use tools to developapplication designs. Busines Computing AIM: to ensure learners understand the effects developments in IT have on organisations andhow organisations respond to these developments, and enable learners to propose IT-enabled improvementsto business systems to solve problem.

Entry requirements

ICT grade is an advantage All students need to have at least 5 in english and 4 in maths
