Engineering Extended Certificate
Course summary
This course is a great all round introduction to engineering. All learners have to take four units to demonstrate their understanding of the underpinning mathematical, scientific, mechanical and electrical/ electronic principles that form the foundation of engineering. Students will then complete a further two units from a range of topics such as, electrical and electronic design, mechanical design, Computer Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) and business for engineering. This will increase the depth and breadth of their skills and knowledge and is an excellent foundation for further study of engineering at University or to start a career in engineering through an apprenticeship.
